First meeting of the discussion group in Segre watershed

The first meeting of the discussion group was hold in the Canal d'Urgell House in Mollerussa, Lleida. The discussion group was composed by a stakeholders representation of the territory which are part of the Monitoring and Management Committee. Eight representatives participated in the meeting, covering different areas: natural reserves, public bodies, university, environmental associations, agriculture, irrigators community, water uses and demands, and tourism, as well as the Catalan Office of Climate Change, CREAF and IRTA, partners of the project.

Discussion group objectives were, mainly, to discuss the different aspects of climate change adaptation (necessity to act, uncertainty, measures suitability,...), in order to include different visions in the project.
