Second meeting of the discussion group in Segre watershed

On 20th March, a representation of some of the stakeholders from the Segre watershed who are part of the Monitoring and Management Committee, met for the second time in Casa Canal de la Comunitat de Regants d’Urgell in Mollerussa. A total of 7 representatives participated in the meeting, covering different areas: natural reserves, public bodies, university, environmental associations, agriculture, irrigators community, and water uses and demands, as well as the Catalan Office of Climate Change and CREAF, partners of the project.

Discussion group objectives were, mainly, to discuss the different aspects of climate change adaptation (facts noted with the LIFE MEDACC, trend scenarios, where solutions pass, ...), in order to include how different perceptions of the stakeholders had evolved on this topic since the beginning of the project.
