Third meeting of the Monitoring and Management Committee in Montesquiu

On the 15th of December, the Project Monitoring and Management Committee met at Montesquiu Castle. This was the third annual meeting since the beginning of the project and brought together around thirty participants.

This meeting has been organized into three distinct parts, two in the morning and one in the afternoon. In the first part of the morning the results obtained in the areas of forestry, agriculture, climate and hydrology, and adaptive water management were presented. Then the suitability of some adaptation actions in the basins of the study, has been discussed among all present, in a more participatory workshop format. In the afternoon, there was the opportunity to pay a visit to the pilot tests where they could see the treated plots of scots pine versus the control plots.
