Catalan agriculture: "The challenge of adapting to climate change" (SOSTENIBLE)
Fruit ripening before changes of skin color; decoupling between flowering and the presence of certain pollinating species, loss of productivity, new pests... Catalan agriculture faces a major challenge: adapting to global change due to global warming, a change that has already begun to manifest itself and which is already forcing action in the line of adaptation, both from agriculture itself and from the administration. We have therefore wanted, within our special 'Adaptation to Climate Change', to offer a complete analysis of the situation and actions to be taken to increase the resilience of agriculture in Catalonia.
