The hydrological year 2014-15 has been dry in Catalonia with occasional episodes of heavy rains

This period began on 1st October 2014 with 586 hm3 of water in reservoirs in the inland watersheds (84% capacity) and ended on the same date this year with 484 hm3 (70% capacity).

The major episode of rains recorded in late November allowed a high level of reserves, which has been declining progressively over the period January-September following the widespread lack of rain (except March).

Savings have again been instrumental in maintaining the reserves.
