Towards a warmer Mediterranean (Diari de Girona)
A project addresses how to adapt water management, forest and field to climate change.
The Mediterranean basin is one of the most susceptible areas to climate change, especially in terms of water availability and increased temperature. The European project Life+ Medacc, developed in the Muga, Ter and Segre watersheds, studies the best strategies to adapt to the new situation: work in a more effective agriculture against drought, more resistant forests and careful management of water.
